Town stopper eyes unbeaten run ahead of Dons visit

Goalkeeper Mark Tyler hopes last Saturday’s first clean sheet of the season in the 1-0 win over Mansfield can help the Hatters climb the League 2 table.

“It’s been a frustrating time for us all,” said the 38-year-old, who was named man-of-the-match against the Stags. “You could see towards the end that we were a bit nervy, but we managed to grind it out and hopefully it will breed a bit of confidence going into next week.

“Like the manager said, we need to get on a run now. With the quality of players we’ve got, we know we can put an unbeaten run together.

“We’ve got that first one now, we can build on that in training and go again against Wimbledon.”

You can read the full interview with Mark in Saturday’s programme and watch it here on Hatters Player.
