Stats and facts post Morecambe triumph

The stats you need to know following the Hatters' win at the Globe Arena on Tuesday night:

• The Hatters registered their fourth win of the season and their second away from home. It was also the Town’s fourth away win of the calendar year (previous wins at Plymouth, Tranmere and Cambridge).

• No team in League 2 have scored more goals away from home than the Hatters’ 11 this season.

• Cameron McGeehan has now scored 10 goals in 43 matches in Luton colours.

• All seven goals scored by Luke Wilkinson in his career at Kenilworth Road have been headers.

• Jonathan Smith’s goal was his eighth in 112 matches for the Hatters.

• The Town ended a run of five games without a win and a goal from midweek Tuesday night away matches with victory at Morecambe. 

• It was the Hatters’ first away win on a Tuesday night since a 2-1 win at Dartford on 1st April 2014.

• The 1,388 attendance was the lowest to watch a Hatters league fixture since 1,279 watched the 5-0 win at Alfreton in the Conference in December 2013.

• 295 Town supporters made the trip to Morecambe. The Hatters’ average away attendance in the five league matches so far stands at 1,080.
