Doyle to travel but no Benson or Ruddock for Morecambe

The Hatters could call upon Scott Cuthbert and Nathan Doyle for Tuesday's midweek trip to Morecambe.

Cuthbert has trained today [Monday] after an ankle problem kept the defender out of Saturday's 2-0 win over Wimbledon. He will be assessed by the Town medical staff, but manager John Still is hopeful the centre-half will be available.

Meanwhile, midfielder Doyle is in line to travel to the Globe Arena. The 28-year-old has missed the last eight games after sustaining a hamstring injury in the 1-0 home defeat to Bristol Rovers in August but came through an hour of a development game last week.

Still confirmed at his Monday press conference that striker Paul Benson nor midfielder Pelly Ruddock will travel north as they continue to be laid low by neck and back problems respectively.

The Hatters have no further injury or suspension issues ahead of the game with the Shrimps for a match Still says will be one of their toughest of the season.
