Get down to Kenilworth Road to voice your views this month
The Annual General Meeting of LTDSA will take place at Kenilworth Road on Wednesday 23rd September 2015 at 7pm.
The AGM will be followed by an Open Forum Meeting where all attendees are encouraged and invited to come and have their say on issues that concern them or people they know with disabilities.
The open forum, which will be held in the John Moore Lounge, is designed for supporters to offer feedback, new ideas and enhancements to allow all disabled supporters the opportunity to enjoy their experience at Kenilworth Road Stadium to its potential.
During the first year of the LTDSA's existence the committee has managed to engage with the club in many ways such as:
·Helping to create a fair system of ticket allocation to disabled supporters including season tickets
·Help the club align with best practice for match day ticket and carer options
·Work in partnership with Level Playing Fields - a supporters organisation who lobby all football league clubs in the pursuit of reasonable and just access for all disabled supports
·Run a week long 'week of action' campaign to highlight disability within the supporter base
The above list is just a small example of how the DSA is trying to work with disabled supporters and the club to ensure all disabled supporters have a voice
Please feel free to join us on the 23rd. Refreshments will be available and we look forward to seeing you there.
In the meantime, if you want to find out more, or can’t make the meeting and want to be heard, you can email the LTDSA at ltdsa@lutontown.co.uk.
