First versus second in Youth Alliance on Saturday
The Hatters’ Under-18s aim to keep-up their unbeaten record this season when they take on second-place Southend in a top-of-the-table Youth Alliance clash on Saturday morning.
Paul Driver’s table-toppers have won 10 of their 11 games in all competitions this season, drawing the other, and currently hold a one point lead over the Shrimpers in the South East table.
Southend won their first eight matches in the Youth Alliance but lost their last league fixture 4-0 at home to Barnet.
Last week the Town youngsters made it through to the League Cup quarter-finals with a 2-0 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge, while Southend thumped Cambridge 5-2 in the same competition.
Kick-off at the Southend training ground is at 11am, and we’ll have a report and post-match reaction from the game on the official website.
Good luck boys!
