CMS back, Hall banned, trio in training but Pelly out

Town boss John Still looks set to welcome back striker Craig Mackail-Smith for Sunday's trip to face former club Dagenham & Redbridge.

The ex-Daggers forward missed last weekend's defeat to Plymouth with a nerve problem in his leg but has trained this week and could feature at Victoria Road.

Fellow frontman Jack Marriott played the final 15 minutes against the Pilgrims with an injury sustained in the second half but has trained this week and could be in the squad, as have full-backs Sean Long and Dan Potts who both came off against Argyle with knocks.

One man who is definitely unavailable is Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu who has a swollen ankle - an injury picked up towards the end of the first half last weekend when colliding with an advertising hoarding at the Kenilworth Road end.

Striker Paul Benson played 90 minutes for the development squad on Tuesday isn't quite ready for a first team return according to Still, while another man unavailable for selection is Ryan Hall who serves a one-match ban for his red card against Plymouth.
