Dons test for unbeaten Town youth team

It’s back to the bread and butter of the league for the Hatters Under-18s this weekend as they aim to extend their unbeaten record to 17 games at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

Paul Driver’s side beat Colchester 3-1 at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night to book their place in the second round of the FA Youth Cup.

On Saturday the Town head to South West London knowing victory will keep them top of the Youth Alliance table.

The Hatters beat the Wombles 5-0 back in August, but the Dons have improved since then and now find themselves fifth in the table.

So far this season the Town youngsters have won 11 of their 12 league games, drawing the other and have a goal difference of plus 36.

A report will be online on after Saturday’s game.
