Midfielder commits his future to the Town

Last season’s Player of the Year Nathan Doyle has signed a contract extension with the Hatters to keep him at the club until June 2018.

The 28-year-old midfielder arrived at Kenilworth Road last year following his release from Bradford and has since gone on to feature 43 times for the Town.

The former Derby, Barnsley and Hull man was delighted to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Doyle told Hatters Player: “Last season I came in late without having a proper pre-season so I had to hit the ground running and I thought we should have at least made the Play-Offs.

“We’ve got a strong squad now and definitely improved in all areas of the pitch and I can only see this club on an upward curve.”
