Players attend Luton Poppy Appeal event at Barnfield West Academy

Luton Town players Scott Griffiths and Elliot Justham were in attendance today at a special Love Luton 'Luton Poppy Appeal' event to mark the 70th anniversary of VE day. The players helped students of Barnfield West Academy in the town to plant poppy seeds close to a special plaque which will help students at the academy to remember those who died during World War II. Afterwards, Griffiths and Justham were treated to a tour of the academy by Principle Andy Hardy and Deputy Principle Samia Akram, where they met staff and students, signing autographs on the way.
