Luton Town now welcoming applications to become one of three official charities at the Club
Luton Town FC has a proud history of supporting many worthy charitable causes throughout our 130 year history. Whether it’s by giving small charities access to the ground on match day to carry our bucket collections and donations of Club memorabilia at one end of the scale, to working with large national charities for huge awareness raising events (remember the Prostate Cancer UK stadium?) at the other, we understand the impact that the Club, players and supporters can have on charitable organisations big and small.
At the same time as wanting to help and support as many worthy causes as possible, we are also conscious that during the course of a season this can mean as many as 30 or 40 individual organisations. Spreading our support so widely can be complicated and can also limit the overall impact that the Club is able to provide to any individual organisation.
For these reasons, the Club have drawn up a new policy to help ensure that any charitable causes we are supporting gain the maximum possible impact in terms of fundraising and awareness from any partnership with Luton Town FC.
As such we are now welcoming applications from charities who would like to become one of three official charity partners at the club.
These are:
- Club charity of the year
- Supporters' charity of the year
- Players' charity of the year
