Town boss John Still has delivered an impassioned speech to the official YouTube channel in the wake of an incident after last Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat to Morecambe.
The manager responded to criticism from a set of supporters in the main stand following the loss to the Shrimps.
And Still has called for all supporters to reunite as the Town bid to win back-to-back promotions for the first time in the club’s history.
He said: “When I came here I promised nothing. I didn’t promise success straight away, but we were fortunate enough to get it.
“The reason we got it was we were a team on and off the pitch. We wouldn’t be where we are today and we wouldn’t have made the progress we have without the support off it.
“I love the support we get, but please, please don’t upset those around you.”
