Town take on Robins at Kenilworth Road
The Hatters have been drawn at home to Championship side Bristol City in the first round of the Capital One Cup.The tie against the Robins will take place week commencing 10th August. Ticket details will follow.
It will be the first time the Town play City in the competition, and the first time since 2005 that the Hatters have hosted the Ashton Gate outfit. That day the Town won 5-0 thanks to two goals from Ahmet Brkovic and one each from Kevin Nicholls, Sol Davis and Peter Holmes.
City won promotion to the Championship last season having romped away with the League 1 title. We look forward to welcoming them to Kenilworth Road in August.
