Carlisle and Morecambe midweek the undoubted highlights!
Hatters fans will clock up almost 6,000 miles next season in Sky Bet League 2.
The Town begin their 2015/16 campaign with one of their longest journeys of the season, the 400-mile round-trip to Accrington Stanley.
There’s an early midweek jaunt up the M6 in September when the Hatters head to Morecambe on a Tuesday night. And four days after that 430-mile round-trip there’s the small matter of a 464-mile journey to Hartlepool!
Over Christmas and New Year the Town faithful will no doubt be in their numbers at Portsmouth (28th December) and Bristol Rovers (2nd January).
The second-longest trip – the 502-mile trek to Plymouth – takes place on 19th March – but the fixture computer hasn’t done Town followers any favours with the longest journey – to Carlisle – on a Tuesday night in April!
There are plenty of fixtures closer to Kenilworth Road, though. The Town’s shortest trip of the season at Stevenage – just 34 miles to Broadhall Way and back – takes place on 21st Novemeber.
Cambridge lie in wait at the Abbey Stadium on 5th September, while the Town make the relatively short 80-mile round-trip to Wycombe Wanderers in early February.
At the tail end of the campaign the Hatters make the 35-mile journey up the M1 to Northampton for their final away game of the season on 30th April.
