The Hatters Community Trust are holding organising a football tournament and multi-sports festival at Stockwood Park Athletics Centre on Saturday afternoon 25th July for adults with learning disabilities.
The event, being organised in conjunction with team Beds&Luton's No Limits programme, is part of the Golden Legacy event which celebrates the London Olympics 2012.
The football and multi sports festival will run from 1pm to 4pm and Head of Trust Kevin Thoburn hopes that combining football with other multi sports will open up new opportunities for anyone with learning difficulties.
He told lutontown.co.uk: “This event gives a lot of adults the chance to try new sports that are available in Luton and Bedfordshire through the No Limits multi activity Club.
“The event is open to teams or individuals who just want to come down for the afternoon and we are hoping to reach as many people as we can and hook them up with new sporting opportunities.”
