Defender departs for pastures new

The Town have mutually terminated the contract of defender Fraser Franks.

The 24-year-old centre-half departs after 18 months at Kenilworth Road, during which time he helped the Hatters win the Conference title and with it promotion back to the Football League.

Franks, who signed from Welling in January 2014, made his debut in one of the most crucial games that particular season, the 2-1 win at Macclesfield. He leaves the Hatters after making 34 appearances in Luton colours.

Everyone at Kenilworth Road would like to thank Fraser for his commitment and endeavour during his stay at Luton Town and would like to wish him all the best in his future career.
