Boss aiming to snap up top target before window shuts
John Still is hopeful of securing the signature of a player high on his wish list before the January transfer window closes.
The boss revealed at his Thursday press conference that discussions had been held with a number of targets this week, but admitted he won’t be signing anyone for the sake of it.
“We’re still in with a shout with what was our first choice,” said Still. “We’ve had talks. The player wants to do it, it’s whether the [players’] club will allow it to happen, so we’ll see.”
