Hatters striker Mark Cullen has responded to the speculation surrounding his future at Kenilworth Road.
The 12-goal forward was omitted from the line-up at AFC Wimbledon with manager John Still admitting afterwards that the former Hull man was not in the right frame of mind to be included in the squad.
In an exclusive message to the official website, Cullen said: “I heard that there was a bit of interest from higher up the divisions from different teams. That would tempt any player wanting to test themselves at a higher level.
“I’ve spoken to John Still and Gary Sweet about the situation and as far as I’m concerned I’m a Luton Town player.
“If I unsettled anybody, I did not mean for that to happen. I’m looking to get back in the team, score goals and help push the lads on.”
