Midfielder set for homecoming on Saturday v Accrington

Cameron McGeehan makes his return to Kenilworth Road in Luton colours on Saturday when the Town entertain Accrington Stanley in Sky Bet League 2.

And the 19-year-old tells official programme Talk of the Town that moving back to Bedfordshire was something he longed for ever since the curtain came down on last season’s title-winning campaign.

“I’ve wanted to come back since the day I left,” said McGeehan, whose feelings for the Hatters were reinforced when appearing against the Town for Cambridge last month.

“You know what? The game made me feel like I was a Luton player out there. It was a surreal experience.”

McGeehan has joined on-loan for the rest of the season from Championship promotion chasers Norwich, but the midfielder has his eye on just one prize between now and May.

“The lads have done great to get us to the position we are in the table and I just hope I can give a bit of a boost to that as well.”

Read the full interview with Cameron on Saturday’s issue of Talk of the Town, available in and outside the ground or online for just £3.

Make sure you have your ticket to see McGeehan’s return to Kenilworth Road by purchasing a seat inside the ground from the ticket office by calling 01582 416976 or by visiting our e-ticketing website.

Talk of the Town also includes the boardroom notes from chief executive Gary Sweet as well as interviews with Elliot Lee and Elliot Justham.
