• The Hatters ended a run of six straight defeats at Fratton Park and picked up their first point from an away match at Portsmouth in 40 years.
• Previous Town teams had lost all of the previous six visits to Fratton Park. The last Hatters side to leave Portsmouth with anything came in September 1975 when Adrian Alston and Andy King found the target in a 2-0 victory.
• Mark Tyler kept his first clean sheet in seven matches – stretching back to the goalless draw at Stevenage on 21st November.
• The Hatters lost the corner count 13-0.
• The attendance of 17,668 was the highest in League 2 this season, boosted by 1,556 backing the Hatters – the largest away following of the season so far at Fratton Park.
• Paul Benson made his 75th appearance for the Town, while Alex Lawless made his 190th.
