The duo helped the Hatters keep their first clean sheet in seven matches with goalkeeper Tyler making a string of fine saves.
"We dug deep and defended really well," said the 38-year-old. "It was a committed and determined defensive display."
O'Donnell, meanwhile, made his first Luton appearance since late September and pleased to be back involved.
He said: "It's nice to be back in the team. I've been out in the cold for two months but it's good to get a go in the team. As a team we were solid, resolute and hopefully we can build on the clean sheet."
