Midfielder to join squad for Faroes and Hungary games

Paddy McCourt has been called-up for the Northern Ireland squad for their key Euro 2016 qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and Hungary next week.

The 31-year-old will be hoping to add to his 31 caps for Michael O'Neill's side next week.

Northern Ireland currently sit in second place in Group F, one point behind leaders Romania and two points ahead of third-placed Hungary. The top two sides from the group will automatically qualify for the finals in France next summer.

Paddy - who scored both of his international goals against the Faroes - was last capped for his country in May in a 1-1 draw with Qatar.

As a result of his call-up, the midfielder will be unavailable for the Town's matches against Leyton Orient and Cambridge United next week.

Good luck Paddy!
