Two-goal forward earns team of the round place
Jack Marriott’s two goals against Bristol City on Tuesday night have earned him a place in the Capital One Cup team of the first round.
The 20-year-old striker capped his full Town debut by scoring once in each half in the Hatters’ fine 3-1 victory.
Jack is one four League 2 players in the XI, which includes also York’s Scott Flinders, Oxford’s Kemar Roofe and Notts County’s Liam Noble.
