Key route into town closed for drainage and maintenance works
We have been informed by the Highway Services department of Luton Borough Council that Hatters Way will be closed today, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August for 'drainage and maintenance works'. The road will be closed from the roundabout at Chaul End Lane / Dallow Road to the Telford Way roundabout between 5am and 7pm on both of these days and a diversion will be in place.We would recommend that supporters who are planning to come to our home game against Walsall which kicks off at 3pm should factor these works into their travel plans, and leave extra time for their journey to the Stadium. It is also worth bearing in mind that the Luton Mela takes place in Wardown park, which may also bring additional traffic to the town centre.
The Luton to Dunstable busway will remain in operation - the Clifton Road stop is directly behind the ground. There is also a walkway along the Hatters Way section of the busway.
