Anniversary season celebrated through our new-look programme
A new season begins at Kenilworth Road tonight as the Hatters kick-off their 130th anniversary campaign on home soil against Bristol City in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
This season we’ll be celebrating the landmark anniversary in a number of ways, with our official match programme one of them. The new-look issue is bigger in size and will contain a number of new features.
Each issue will carry a cover design of a programme from a previous and very particular match against the day’s opposition.
Tonight, for the visit of the Robins, our cover comes from a 1970 fixture against City which the Hatters won 3-0. And you can read more about the match inside our first issue of the programme.
Also included in issue one are the notes from the boardroom with vice chairman David Wilkinson, plus the thoughts of manager John Still and captain Stephen McNulty.
