Terry completed the lap in front of a packed Kenilworth Road, both Exeter fans and Luton fans gave him a warm welcome as he ran round the pitch. Prior to completing the run a nervous Terry waited in the tunnel ready to step out in front of 8,326 Luton fans. When asked how he felt heading out to complete his lap terry said "For the first stretch my legs were like jelly however the crowd got behind me which really lifted my spirits and helped me to complete my lap. My son, Alec, suffers from Cystic Fibrosis and I am running the London Marathon to raise money for the charity. I am overwhelmed with the support from the fans and would like to thank everyone for their donations"
Today Hornet Terry Wesley donned a Luton Town Shirt and ran around Kenilworth Road all in preparation for the London Marathon on 26th April. Joined by his Hatter friend, Nick Waldock, Terry is raising money for his five year old son, Alec, with Cystic Fibrosis by running all 26.21 miles wearing a Luton Town shirt.
