Town secure midfielder's stay for another 12 months + young striker commits future at Kenilworth Road

Nathan Doyle has triggered a clause to extend his contract at Kenilworth Road for a further year.

The 28-year-old midfielder penned a season-long deal in September having arrived from Bradford City, and has been an influential member of the squad ever since.

He made his debut in the Town’s 2-0 home win over Oxford and has featured 27 times this term.

The Hatters have also exercised the option to extend teenage striker Zane Banton’s contract with the club for a further year. The young forward has spent this season out on loan at Biggleswade and Hemel Hempstead.

Earlier in the campaign Mark Tyler and Scott Griffiths also triggered contract extensions. All four players are now contracted to the club until the summer of 2016.
