Buy tickets and merchandise in the middle of town
The Club are delighted to announce a new club shop will be opening in the Mall in Luton town centre later next month.The outlet, positioned close to Marks & Spencer and Debenhams and next to the Body Shop, will enable customers to purchase Hatters merchandise and tickets from a central location in the town centre.
Hatters Chief Executive Gary Sweet told lutontown.co.uk: “We’re thrilled to be able to have a permanent presence in the Mall.
“Over the past few years we have, on an ad-hoc basis, enjoyed great success when using one of the Mall’s stalls, especially during busy periods of the year.
“The overwhelming success of these stalls, together with a large amount of supporter feedback, has helped us recognise that there was a significant demand for a permanent outlet in the centre of Luton.
“The new store enjoys a prominent position in the Mall and will be completely kitted out in Town colours, complete with an AstroTurf floor.
“We are looking forward to seeing this venture become a big success and look forward to welcoming all supporters throughout the year.
“However, it goes without saying that the new shop’s opening will not have any impact on the existing club shop situated in Kenilworth Road, which will remain open at its usual times.”
The new shop’s launch coincides with the appointment of June Walsh as Retail and Merchandising Manager.
On June’s arrival, Sweet added: “June has extensive knowledge on all aspects of sports retail with over a decade’s experience in positions at Premier League football and rugby clubs.
“This is an exciting appointment for the club and we are delighted to welcome June on board to manage and improve our in buying, marketing and sales output.”
