Town in the hat for the live draw at the weekend

The Hatters will find out who their opponents will be in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Saturday morning.

The Town received a bye in the first round of the competition, and go into the second round as the sole holders after last season's winners - Peterborough - were knocked out by Leyton Orient on Tuesday night.

The Hatters, who won the JPT in 2008 but were not allowed to defend their title the following season, will face either AFC Wimbledon, Colchester United, Crawley Town, Dagenham & Redbridge, Gillingham, Leyton Orient or MK Dons in the second round. Together with the Town, the seven other clubs form the South East section of the draw.

The draw will take place live on Sky Sports' Soccer AM show at approximately 10.10am.

The ties are due to be played week commencing 6th October.
