Howells a doubt, Franks back in training
The Town could be without Jake Howells for Saturday's Sky Bet League 2 game with Southend United at Kenilworth Road after the midfielder did not train on Thursday due to illness.Manager John Still could be able to call upon the services of the likes of Alex Lawless, Luke Guttridge and Paul Benson after the trio came through the Tuesday night defeat to Crawley.
However, the boss will be without Curtley Williams, who dislocated his shoulder last week, Paul Connolly and Luke Rooney for the visit of the Shrimpers.
Fraser Franks, who underwent a hernia operation last month, is back in the training.
Meanwhile defender Mark Onyemah has extended his loan at Ryman League Thurrock for a further two months, keeping him at Ship Lane until 9th December.
