Luton Town Football Club

•    WHAT IS THE LTDSA?
The Luton Town Disabled Supporters’ Association was formed on October 8th 2014 at an Open Forum of interested parties held at Luton Town FC. It has been formed following an extended series of discussions between the Club and volunteer supporters primarily to improve communications between the Club and Disabled Supporters, but also to assist the Club with policies, procedures and matters applying directly to all disabled supporters.

•    WHO ARE THE LTDSA?
At the meeting on October 8th the following supporters put themselves forward and will serve on the Association:
Richard Hill (Chairman)
Allan Drummond (Secretary)
Glyn Bolino
Les Calver
Simon Fraser
Mike Garrand
Samantha Taylor

The Club is also obliged to have at least one senior member of staff present at all LTDSA meetings.

•    WHAT ARE THE LTDSA’s OBJECTIVES?
You can read the LTDSA Constitution elsewhere within this section of the Luton Town website, but primarily it is to ensure that the Club embraces the social model of disability and that the Club recognises the importance of seeing the person and not the ‘disability’. The LTDSA will also seek to represent all and single disabled supporters in their dealings and communications with the Club.

•    HOW DO I KNOW WHAT THE LTDSA ARE DOING?
Minutes from future LTDSA meetings will be published on this section of the website, allowing you to monitor its progress and processes.

•    HOW DO I GET IN TOUCH WITH THE LTDSA?
Please email ltdsa@lutontown.co.uk for a direct response from one of the appointed officers or committee members. They will respond and, if necessary, take up any issues with the Club on your behalf.

•    HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
The LTDSA will host at least one Open Meeting per season which will allow you to meet everyone face to face and to raise any issues or make any suggestions. Please keep an eye on this section of the Luton Town website for more news including details of a LTDSA membership scheme for Season 2015-16.
