Football Remembers this weekend, and so do the Hatters
The Hatters will be wearing a commemorative one-off shirt in their FA Cup tie against Newport County on Saturday – sporting a poppy to help raise money for the British Legion's Poppy Appeal. The Club will also be holding a minute's silence prior to kick-off in this weekend’s game as a mark of respect to all those who have lost their lives fighting for our country.
Keep an eye on lutontown.co.uk later next week for more details on how you can get your hands on one of the match-worn shirts from Saturday's game.
In Saturday's issue of Talk of the Town, club historian Roger Wash traces the steps of those Hatters players that served in the arm forces during the conflicts in a special historial section.
