John Still on unbelievable levels of support
A week after a fifth 9,000-plus crowd at Kenilworth Road of the season - and with 2,000 Hatters fans off to Burton on Saturday - Town manager John Still paid tribute to the Hatters supporters."Knowing we're taking that kind of a support is a boost," said the boss. "Knowing that when you need a bit of help they're there close with you, is a massive thing.
"The difference in the support from when I first come to now is something you couldn't measure - it's enormous. It's so great, so positive, and it goes back to the old saying 'the stronger the team, the stronger the team'.
"I think we've created something that would possibly be the envy of a lot of football clubs.
"We have a well-run football club; a team who can compete at the level it plays at; and fantastic backing on the terraces. What more could you want?"
