Football training programme with Luton Town Football Club

Luton Town and Central Bedfordshire College are recruiting for a development programme for people who want a career in the game.

It's based at Creasey Park, Dunstable, and The Arena, Baldock.

If you're at least 16 and love football, this could be the perfect choice - whether you want to be a player, work in football generally, in sport more widely, or just have great fun.

Key features:

o    Academic Success: rates as high as 90%

o    Higher than average progression to employment and university

o    Football success - we've won a range of different leagues 5 times; runners up twice

o    5 learners achieving professional trials, with many others trialling for England

o    State-of-the-art facilities, training environment and learning venues.

To join one of these exciting courses, you will take part in a trial as part of the selection process.

Wayne Turner, Luton Town's head of youth, said: "Our education schemes allow us to keep a much larger pool of local talent where we can monitor progress and offer genuine future pathways into the professional game."

David Burns, head of sport at Central Bedfordshire College said: "This is another great development for the sports department at Central Bedfordshire College which keeps moving us even more to the forefront of sport and education in the region."

Central Bedfordshire College was recently rated "Good" by Ofsted for its sports work.
