Youngsters record win over Boro
The Hatters Under-18s' returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Stevenage in the Youth Alliance on Tuesday afternoon.Paul Driver kept the faith with the same side that drew 0-0 with Colchester at the weekend, and the Town raced into a two-goal first half lead.
Luke Trotman and Tuki Tayali both found the net in the opening 45 minutes to put the Hatters in control.
The Town kept Boro at bay for much of the second half and it wasn't until the 90th minute that Stevenage pulled a goal back from the penalty spot.
A delighted Driver told lutontown.co.uk: "It was an excellent result and an even better performance, I really am pleased.
"It was another young team and their professionalism and quality were incredibly satisfying."
