Boss looking to bounce back but Guttridge injury of concern
Town manager John Still admitted that Luke Guttridge could be out for the rest of the season with a metatarsal injury. The midfielder sustained the injury during the 3-0 win over Alfreton three weeks ago and has been receiving treatment - including a series of injections - ever since.
"We've only got six weeks left of the season so I'm not sure whether Luke will be back by then," said the manager. "We'll have to wait and see."
Other than the injury to Guttridge and to Jonathan Smith and Danny Fitzsimons, the Hatters have no fresh injury worries ahead of the home fixture with Chester on Saturday.
Still is hoping is side can bounce back to winning ways after their first league defeat in 27 matches and six months on Monday night against Woking.
"We've been on amazing run and nothing lasts forever," said the boss. "It's been fantastic but it's over now and we have to start again."
