Midfielder missing through injury but boss not fazed

Luke Guttridge will miss Saturday’s game at Salisbury through injury, manager John Still confirmed at his Thursday press call.

The 13-goal midfielder was stretchered off in the second half of the Hatters’ 3-0 win over Alfreton last weekend with a suspected foot injury.

The Town boss explained, however, that the club are not due to receive the full extent of the injury until early next week.

Still said: “We’ve dealt with injuries to Jonathan Smith, Alex Lacey and Andy Parry this season and we’ll have to deal without Luke on Saturday.

“We’ve got players to come in: Alex Lawless and Matt Robinson who are good players, so I’m not particularly fazed by it.”

Meanwhile Andre Gray, Fraser Franks and Cameron McGeehan are all fully fit after returning to training on Thursday from international duty.
