Luton Town Football Club

The Town are pleased to announce their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2014/15 campaign back in the Football League.

The Hatters will be in action three times in friendlies at Kenilworth Road, taking on League 1 clubs Peterborough United and Colchester United, and Belgian Second Division outfit Royal Antwerp.

Pre-season begins for the squad on 30th June when they report for the first day of pre-season training, and the first match the first team squad will play will be at Borehamwood on Wednesday 16th July.

A game away at Hitchin follows a day later before the Town take on Barnet at the Hive on Sunday 20th July.

Friendlies on successive days away at Histon and East Thurrock on 22nd and 23rd July follow, before the Town entertain Royal Antwerp at Kenilworth Road on Saturday 26th July.

Colchester, who finished 16th in League 1 last season, make the trip to Bedfordshire three days later on Tuesday 29th July.

Then Peterborough, who lost out in the League 1 Play-Offs at the semi-final stage to Leyton Orient, are the visitors to Kenilworth Road on Saturday 2nd August, rounding off the first team’s set of pre-season fixtures prior to the start of the League 2 campaign a week later.

Also included in the schedule are away friendlies against AFC Kempson, AFC Dunstable, Bedford Town, St Neots and Biggleswade in which development squads will be taken.
