Our countdown to the start of the season...65 days to go...
Ricky Hill netted 65 goals during his long and illustrious career at Kenilworth Road.
The wing wizard burst onto the scene with a barnstorming cameo on his Town debut as a substitute in a 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers on 19th April 1976. He set up one goal with his first touch and then scored with almost his next. A hero was born!
The wing wizard would go on to star in the successful Hatters sides of the 1980s, culminating in the Littlewoods Cup triumph at Wembley in 1988. He made 508 appearances in total for the Town and was capped by England three times.
A true Hatters legend.
