JAKE HOWELLS PENS NEW LUTON DEAL

FAN FAVOURITE HOWELLS PENS CONTRACT EXTENSION

The Hatters are delighted to announce that Jake Howells has penned a new contract with the club which will expire in the summer of 2016.


The 23-year-old midfielder is delighted to have signed an extension to his current contract and stated "I am very happy to be extending my contract at Luton, It's what I wanted and now I can't wait to be playing in the Football League once more".


“It’s great to be back at the training ground, around the boys and we are all raring to get the new season underway”.


Howells has made almost 300 appearances in a Luton shirt scoring 25 goals in this time with 8 of these coming last season. 


Manager John Still told lutontown.co.uk: “Jake has been here a long while, he’s an experienced player now and he’s experienced the fantastic season we had last year".

“This is something he’s been waiting for, he’s a Luton boy and has been terrific for this club, terrific for me and I’m delighted he’s accepted a new contract”.
