Hatters to utilise squad for Cambridge trip

Town boss John Still is again likely to make a number of changes to the side that take on Cambridge United in Saturday's FA Trophy tie at the Abbey Stadium.

A number of the players involved in Monday's development squad victory over Reading will be involved, as will Jake Howells who has played and captained the Hatters in the previous three ties in the competition.

Elliot Justham, Solomon Taiwo, Anthony Charles, Alex Wall, Jon Shaw, Mark Cullen and Kane Ferdinand are also expected to feature in the third round meeting with fellow Skrill Premier side Cambridge.

At his Thursday press call, Still also confirmed that Alfie Mawson and Joe Davis have returned to parent clubs Brentford and Port Vale respectively, with neither expected back at Kenilworth Road any time soon. The manager did, however, admit that a new loan signing will arrive at the club in the coming days.
