On 25th February
The Hatters have played in five different divisions on this day.
Tonight’s match against Wrexham will be the first time the Town play in the Conference but two matches in the Southern League, against Portsmouth and Norwich, were, at the time, the fifth level of football.
The Town played just once in the fourth level – Division Four as it was named at the time – in 1967. That day they were held to a goalless draw at home to Southport at Kenilworth Road.
The Hatters have played four times in the top flight - losing three and drawing one - whilst five games have taken place in what is now the Championship, England's second tier.
Three matches involving the Town have taken place at the third level, now known as League 1.
