Back the boys from the Oak against the Lambs

The Oak Road end will solely be open to home supporters for the fourth time this season when the Town entertain Tamworth on 8th February.

Hatters supporters have sat in the Oak for the 4-1 win over Hyde, the 3-0 victory over Southport and the 4-2 triumph against Gatehesad already this season.

And Hatters fans can savour the unique atmosphere from this area of Kenilworth Road for the Lambs’ visit early next month.

Manager John Still believes the atmosphere that has been created since the opening of the stand has had a positive effect on his team.

"I think it does give players a lift, absolutely I do," he said. "Does it make a difference to results? No-one knows, it’s difficult to say.

"But I think that for all of us, knowing the support is all around you and when you’re attacking one goal you’re being called complimentary names and not abusive names, also when you’re trying to take a corner."

Season ticket holders who wish to transfer their season ticket seat to the Oak Road end for this match must do so before the day of the game. Contact the ticket office on 01582 411622 or email

Matchday tickets are on sale now and tickets will be available on the door (subject to availability).

Tickets are now available in the ticket office and online.
