John Still thanks the Luton Town board for their ongoing support
The Hatters board have backed John Still during the January window, helping to provide the funds to sign both Fraser Franks and Pelly Ruddock on a permanent basis.
Still has signed the youngsters as investments for the future, with the manager’s vision to take the club forward and to climb the football ladder.
“It’s a team game; it’s not just about me. We’re all components that make the whole thing,” Still told Hatters Player.
“I’m delighted that the board have backed me. When I came in I did try to make lots of cuts financially.
“I look upon players like Pelly and Fraser as investments. I think we have invested in quality and that’s the key.
“We’re starting a vision at this club that we want to go forward with. I want to build a team and a squad of players that can take the club forward.
“The clubs vision is to gain promotion and I understand that, but that wasn’t my vision. My vision is to build a football club that can do better than that.
“I want players who are proud to play for Luton and who will talk about it at the end of their careers.”
