Hatters youngsters fall to defeat against Stevenage
The Town Under-18s conceded an injury-time goal as Paul Driver’s side lost 2-1 at home to Stevenage in the Youth Alliance on Saturday morning.
The young Hatters, who included just two second-year scholars, took a first-half lead thanks to Luke Trotman’s fine finish.
Stevenage levelled on the hour following a breakaway but the Town failed to re-take the lead after countless chances.
The Hatters saw a final chance cleared off the line in the final minute before Stevenage won it at the death with a header on 93 minutes.
