Hatters Under-18s out on loan

While their team mates in the Under 18s were gaining a very creditable point against Peterborough United on Saturday, goalkeeper Craig King and midfielder Isaac Galliford were gaining their first experiences of senior football with Bromley and Hitchin Town respectively.

King kept a clean sheet as Bromley drew 0-0 away in a Kent Derby against Tonbridge Angels in the FA Trophy, while Galliford came on for the last half an hour to help Hitchin battle back to gain a late point against Frome Town at Top Field.

Youth Team manager, Paul Driver said: "The first thing Craig said when I spoke to him was that he had been in a proper football match and that's exactly why it is vital for the youngsters to get these chances as they are great for their development.

"Isaac enjoyed his cameo for Hitchin too and will be involved with them on Tuesday against Biggleswade."
