Hatters hit the woodwork three times in Boro draw

The Town Under-18s were held to a point by Stevenage at Ely Way on Saturday morning.

Osamu Allman fired the Hatters in front in the 32nd minute but after taking the lead, the Town struck the woodwork three times to no avail.

However, with seven minutes to go Stevenage levelled from a set-piece to learn them a share of the spoils.

Boss Paul Driver said: "We were excellent in open play but we're disappointed to concede from a free-kick. Although we played really well, the draw feels more like a defeat."

Full report and reaction to follow.

Town: King, Trotman, Hawkes, Justin, Musonda, Tamplin, Ngwala, Galliford, Tayali (sub Craig 74), Atkinson, Allman.

Subs not used: Gooch, Magaraushe, Perry, Amadi.
