Right side still a problem for Still ahead of Accrington trip

John Still will once again be without the services of a number of right-sided players ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet League 2 game at Accrington Stanley.

The boss is unlikely to be able to field right-back Paul Connolly and most definitely midfielders Shaun Whalley and Alex Lawless and defender Curtley Williams.

Andy Parry, Jonathan Smith and Ricky Miller are also unavailable but Still will continue to work without his right-sided members of his squad which he admitted has been a problem.

"We're a touch unbalance down that side," said the manager at his Thursday press conference. "It's unusual to have that problem down the right side, normally it's the left.

"We've been missing Connolly, we've had no Curtley, no Lawless, no Whalley.

"None of them are long term, it's more niggly stuff than anything else.

"But it's part and parcel of football and you have to overcome these kind of problems and not just sit there and not think about how to try and make it work.

"We want to get people in wide areas and the right side has been an issue but it's up to us to try and find a way of making something happen. You need to look at it objectivelty: you've got to work with what you've got."
