Today could be THE day.
It could be the day that promotion is won and the title is lifted.
IF this is the case, we’d love - and we’re sure you’d agree - to see the players and management staff’s magnificent achievement this season celebrated and screened around the globe to the millions of football fans.
Remember, the post-match arrangements should we be successful today will see a stage erected on the pitch immediately after the full-time whistle. The players will leave the pitch before returning, to receive their winners’ medals and the championship trophy followed by a lap of honour. For the whole nation and beyond to witness the Town lift the title, the presentations will take place before 3pm.
We ask you to respect this occasion, to allow the players to receive the recognition their efforts deserve, by remaining in your seats for the presentation.
We got to this stage for a number of reasons, but it has been the players’ drive, determination and, ultimately, success that stands us on the edge of glory. Let them have their moment before you have yours!
