The Hatters drew with north London giants Arsenal and Tottenham at Kenilworth Road on this day in 1955 and 1949 respectively.


In the goalless draw against the Gunners 24,009 squeezed into the ground, whilst 27,319 witnessed the 1-1 with Spurs six years previous in the old Second Division (now Championship).


The Town won away from home in successive seasons on this day between 1994 and 1995. A 3-1 win at Bramall Lane against Sheffield United in 1994 was followed by a 1-0 win at Portman Road against Ipswich the following season with David Oldfield netting the Hatters goal.
