Moments from the Hatters' history on 20th October
Last year the Town’s run in the FA Cup – which culminated with a history-making win over Norwich City at Carrow Road – began with a 2-0 win at Cambridge United.
In 1984 the Hatters beat local rivals Watford 3-2 at Kenilworth Road in the top flight thanks to two goals from Frankie Bunn and one from Steve Elliott, before a crowd of 12,192.
Back in 1970, the Town were in the Second Division (now Championship), and goals from Don Givens and Malcolm Macdonald secured a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in front of over 16,000 at Kenilworth Road.
